I really like Ai Otsuka. This is one of her really upbeat songs. =) She's really hot. =)

There are many things in my life that I want....

I want a new car, more money, to lose weight, to get fitter, to have better hair (maybe like The Miz's, haha!) , to have cooler sunglasses, a PS3, a ticket to a Manchester United game, a ticket to a live Ai Otsuka concert, to watch Porno Graffitti live, to have a great meal at Chillis, to watch Michael Owen score the winner against Liverpool tomorrow, to have more sales, to have a promotion, to have more space on this PC, to be able to play Football Manager well and be successful at it, to have Smackdown vs Raw 2010, to be a better basketballer and futsal player, to have a Lipton Rooibos Red Tea, to have a cleaner room, to have an England and Malaysia football jersey, to watch the KL Dragons play, to watch Nona Reeves live, to be able to bleach my hair blonde again, to go to US, UK, Canada and Japan, to watch a Wrestlemania live, to have a nice cuppa Starbucks, to have a Coca Cola from the US, to grow the cell group, to see the church grow, to be closer to God, to lead worship at a huge concert, to buy a condo, to be a better man, to be a better friend, to be a better son, to be a better brother, to be a better banker, to be a better cell leader, to have excellent hair products...=P,to score more goals and baskets, to eat Fish and Chips in England etc

And the list goes on...

But most of all, I want you...=)

This song is from the soundtrack of 500 Days Of Summer. If there's only movie you'd watch this year. This is it. Hands down, no questions asked, this is my personal favorite movie of the year, if not of my life. =) I heard so much about it, and it truly lives up to every good review it has. Just everything about this movie is great. The characters are so relevant and some of the lines are just amazing i.e 'She's much better than the girl of my dreams, because she's real'. =)

Its a great romantic comedy that will make you laugh, cry (for some) and really ponder at the same time. Its a really unique movie too, with the non linear storyline and different realities. Heh. Go catch it, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. Just bear with the Malaysian censors a little though. =P

Ah, shucks, watching movies like these get me all reflective and all...hah....well, whatever it is, my thoughts stay in my mind for now, coz I've seen the folly of over-sharing. =)

Well, God has been really great to me. Right on the last day of the quarter, yesterday, from 92% (Average), God blessed me with enough sales to get to 102% (Superior), which basically means I got blessed with quite a strong amount of commission that would have been different if I were less than 100%. =) God is good. Here's to a new quarter of new challenge in SCB and me climbing higher and better. =)

Split cell...I will take this challenge...I will...lets climb higher guys. =)

This was a really nice pleasant day. I'm currently on something called a block leave, its a compulsory 5 straight working days leave that all bank staff have to take. Now, I'm actually feeling slightly restless being a sales man and not having access to my PC at work. Today's just Day 1. And despite the phone calls that came in from customers and brokers, it was still pleasant, just pleasant coz I got to do things that people on leave do, like go watch a movie on a weekday afternoon and have lunch without worrying about the time...Ah, how I missed such life's simple pleasures...=) What a nice day today was...=)

One of my life's goals would be to sing a full Mandarin song at the Karaoke. =) This is a pretty pleasant sounding song. =)

What an interesting past few months. Been having an abundance of leads coming in its painful to follow up sometimes. Well, God is good. Unfortunately, not all are quality leads and not easy to close my deals lar, heh..oh, well, if you guys have been following my daily ESAU updates a few months back, at least I can be glad to say that I am already nearing the ESAU 80% mark as i head into September. God is good indeed. =)

As I grow up, responsibilities just seem to growing and growing and growing. Work gets heavier, and somehow soon, I will most likely be diving back into the cell leadership pool. How to manage lar? Sometimes, I don't have the answers also, but yeah, I will trust God to take me to the next level and that I will step up. =)

Gosh, I remember when this blog had so many comments and views. Can't rmbr the last time someone actually commented on my blog posts. =P. Oh, well, don't knowlar, I guess some times my mind is too swamped to think of anything insightful to think about...oh, well, I don't plan on giving up this blog anyway. Its really fun and embarrassing sometimes as I read back on my thoughts and views 6 years ago. Heh, 6 years....oh, well, here's to many more years of insight on this blog. Hopefully will be better stuff other than just updates about me. =)Cheers!

Wow, what a long silence from my blog. I know that I've been saying that quite often lately. I guess I've just been terribly lazy, stressed, tired and what not from work and life recently.

The more I work, the more I live this life, the more I realize how so much more I need to look to God, draw from Him and just simply, be positive in life...Sometimes, I just look at the people around me in all my different social circles and there's just so much hurt and negativity in this life. So much unforgiveness, even so much un-forgetting (people say forgive doesn't mean you forget). Hehe.

Sometimes it really baffles me why people choose to be in this state in their life. So much that its really not healthy for me as I lose touch with emphatising with people's feelings. Heh, now this is something that really does bring me down and something that I'm gonna have to learn to be a more effective friend.

Some people call positivity lunacy. Unrealistic. Irrelevant. Well, I simply call it a better choice to live life. To the day I die, I'd go to the grave doing my best to have a positive outlook in life and to work for a better life. In everything in life, in my walk with God, in my friendships, in my church, in my family, in Standard Chartered Bank, and in my quest to find her...,=P, even in supporting Manchester United, I'll always do my best to live by Sir Winston Churchill's famous line ...'

Love this Ai Otsuka song about Happy Days. =) Even though I've bought 7 of her Live DVDs and she always sings this song, I never seem to get tired of it due to the fun sheer energy of this song. =)

Well, life in Standard Chartered has been one heck of a ride over this past few months. Firstly, it does feel great to be working with a bank that I genuinely do believe in. Feels like a genuine bank that works hard in balancing protecting ourselves and at the same time do our best to provide a genuinely good package for the customer.

Unfortunately, I did not ever think I'd ever come to this day where as a sales person, I'm complaining about having too many customers. =P. Shock? Some people give me these stares of disbelief and even cheer at it. But well, somethings not right when your list of things to do each day just pile and pile and pile and you end up forgetting do so many little things and you get sarcastic customers call you and say things like 'looks like you're not interested in my business.' Sigh, the type of customers we face each day eh? Well, I guess I can't blame this customer coz I did forget to do something important for the customer.

Well, how am I gonna overcome this? Well, I think it just has to be one day at a time. One humble pie to eat at a time if I fail to live up to the customer's expectation, one task at a time, and I believe the most important thing I'm learning from this experience, is one prayer at a time as well to God who can help me achieve the impossible and do it well to glorify Him at the same time. Now, thats something that I really want to keep more and more in my mind especially when you're living in a sales world thats always telling you that 'You Can Do It!'. Well, I do want to and can do this, but wouldn't want to do it without God.

God, please help me to keep this in mind more and more each day.

I dream and live for the day where I can give an award acceptance speech and first and foremost thank my wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Like they do at the Oscars or Grammys!)

Some people ask me how can I be so positive? Well, how can I not be when I know that God's got my back and He is ever with me. =)

In You I trust and commit my busy busy life at SCB, Jesus Christ. Amen. =)

Great song. I remember a few years ago I was raving about one of Nona Reeve's songs called Changin which I lauded to be one of my favorite songs of all times. Haha, well I guess it still is. This is one of their other songs called 'Tomei Girl.' Great tune, great vocals and pretty girls to look at to boot. =) Enjoy.

Sigh, today is not a good day. So much cans of worms open, probably even more than I should be thinking about. My head hurts. What a shitty day on the basketball court.....

Haihh....its very tiring to plan things and get it thrown back in your face. Somehow I guess this is the life I choose. To press on and press on and press on coz somebody has gotta do it. I live for that Divine Smile. Lord, help me to keep that close to my heart please. Thank you.

Latest 'Bleach' ending. Got a great sound to it. Can't wait for the full version to come out.

Well, 'This Road Home' last weekend went great. Thank You Jesus. Unfortunately I came down with a pretty bad case of food poisoning on the same 3 days and was acting! Yikes. Stay away from the Sambal Meehoon at Pin Kee SS15 man. Was really dehydrated and paying many visits to the gents but seriously, this is one of those moments where you know God is real. =). For only by God's strength could I have played my part for the 3 days. =) Thank You Jesus and thank you friends so much for your prayers.

As we practiced and practiced for the play, fatigue, stress, physical sickness all sank in as we try so hard to juggle our career progressions as well as Easter practices. There were days I probably almost fell asleep on the wheel coming home from church at night after the practice and mind you I only live 10 minutes away from church.

But as we went through this, I'm reminded again about how much this really makes life so much more fun and meaningful. When you're able to do things like these for God. I mean day in day out (to quote Matt Baller), work is work. Its there and well, just a normal part and parcel of life we go through. But yeah, throw in being able to serve God in the midst of the busy life, and hey, heres something that adds so much more meaning to life. As I think back now, to those tiring stressful nights trying to remember my lifes and frustrations of making mistakes, to quote the ensemble, I wouldn't have had it any other way. The smile on my face, knowing that I could have been a part of this, is enough for me. =)

And of course, the 9 people that got saved over the weekend... =)

Thank you so much Jesus, I'm partying with You. =)

God is so so so so frickin good. =)
